Hi thinking of buying a gateway LX6810 w/ Q8200 and 8GB memory w/ 22" monitor. It comes with geforce gt 120. would I need another card for gaming or is this computer worth the $900 best buy wants. Could I build one for that much? Is it hard to do? Help me please any suggestions? thanks again

This from x-bit labs
"The GeForce GT 120, which features code-named G96 chip onboard, will be the successor of such graphics cards as GeForce 8600 GT, GeForce 8600 GTS, 9400 GT, 9500 GT as well s 9500 GS." So you will need another card for gaming. You could build a better system for less. Check out the $625 systems in the System Builders Marathon, add $100 for operatings system and about $170 for a monitor and you'd be about the same price as the gateway system.
