Display Problem

Hello
When I press the button to turn on my PC or restart after that it arrives at the Welcome Screen (I've WIN XP SP3) everything disappears and the monitor goes off for about 2 secs and then it comes up like there is nothing wrong and it works fine. It happened to me for like a month ago till now. So whats the problem?
AMD X2 3600+
DFI NF 570 SLI M2/G
INNO3D 7900 GS 256MB 256BIT
WESTERN DIGITAL 320GIG 16MB BUFFER

that is the same in my laptop its just loging on to sys files but you could do a boot log on your sys

That's fine. This is probably your video card driver applying settings and/or turning on a specific service.

Look on the right corner of your taskbar to see if the nvidia logo shows up right after the screen comes back.

Are you sure it is 2 seconds though? It should be 1 second or a fraction of that.

Try defragmenting your hard drive and updating your drivers if it is 2 seconds.
