If either kit is outside, it'll likely get wet which will ultimately cause failure.

If it's inside, a lot depends on the version of MSroof you have installed.

You forgot to mention the what version of MSpower installed ... which has been known to create random BSOD's and connection failures .....

Of course! I missed that because I'm running build 7070 of MSsTORMwINDOWS, and the YourMoneysIsMyMoneys Union ruling prohibits bundling MSpower with it, so I have to choose a provider.

@OP:
Despite the lame attempts at humor, we'd really like to help.

But you need to ask a better question than "Why is blue?"

If you are asking "can a thunderstorm affect my wireless connection? the answer is yes.... a little .... as thunderstorms have lightening in them ... which affects all radio frequencies.... some more than others. If you are asking if a thunderstorm can short out you wireless device .... probably not.... unless it is hit by lightening. BUT it can kill your wireless transmitter which is hooked up to a phone line or a cable. Hope that gives you some answers.

Wired internet connections can sometimes go out in a thunderstorm. If your wireless router is running off a wired internet connection, it too would go out.

I rarely have my internet go out due to storms.
