If you are asking "can a thunderstorm affect my wireless connection? the answer is yes.... a little .... as thunderstorms have lightening in them ... which affects all radio frequencies.... some more than others. If you are asking if a thunderstorm can short out you wireless device .... probably not.... unless it is hit by lightening. BUT it can kill your wireless transmitter which is hooked up to a phone line or a cable. Hope that gives you some answers.

Wired internet connections can sometimes go out in a thunderstorm. If your wireless router is running off a wired internet connection, it too would go out.
