SSD driver missing?

I cloned my sata to my ssd....when booting windows it said "found new device, installing drivers western digital" blah blah in the system tray. All worked great, ran windows experience index etc

Was advised to get best performance I should do a clean install

Performed clean windows 7 32 install onto the SSD. Now windows experience index wont complete, crashes out when trying to assess drive performance

Says drivers aren't configured correctly

How can I force windows to update / find correct drivers for the SSD....device manager?

Help please!

  1. Not sure if this would work, but it may be worthwhile to try and update your MOBO's drivers. It wouldn't hurt to try and update the BIOS as well. Perhaps the MOBO doesn't have the necessary software installed to handle a SSD.
