Ok here goes,

I want to buy a new monitor for gaming and i can't decide what to get, i have boiled down my options to four possible candidates.

Acer G24 / Dell UltraSharp 2408WFP / NEC 24WMGX3 / HP LP2475W

I need some advice here on which way to swing because iv'e been ripping my hair out when trying to decide what to pick.

If you have any alternative monitors to recommend then please do, but they need to be 24" widescreen / High spec / Below £500.

Cease ripping hair. Chose UltraSharp 2408WFP.

For the best value for the sized and resolution, get a Hanns-G 281DPB. Just bought one of these for myself and I am very impressed, I highly recommend getting one.

HDTV's have really come down recently LG are a good brand and this is a full 1080P for just over 500 euro!
I got a different lg 32" 1080p model a few weeks back and i use the hdmi cable to hook it up, honestly it's a thingh of beauty, great for gaming and movies!

Get the 2408. I have one, and it is amazing. The only other monitor you listed that comes close is the HP, but I've seen those, and I prefer the 2408.
