I have a couple of networking questions, I hope someone can help.

I have a small business with 2 offices a mile apart.....The are not networked,......I wish to join both of them up with a server in the the main office......which has 8 computers + devices, the other office has 6 computers + devices........I ws thinking of installing a small server (2003 Enterprise) in the main office...but feel I need to join both offices together for the sharing of information.....Anyone got any advice.......Plus what is the best (inexpensive) way to create backups.......thanks in advance

Check with your ISPs and see what sort of VPN service they can offer your business.
There are many mediums you can do it through obviously. It's a balance between speed and cost.
