all of my computers get an address from the router except one. If I put the network cable in I get a 169.254.x.x address from the router. If I try the new wireless card I installed I connect sometimes and sometimes not. I get an address from the router but NO internet. Any Ideas.

The weird IP address just means your connection is having trouble resolving a workable address.

Can jus be poor wireless connection but check out the link -- in TCP/IP settings make sure the boxes for automatic DNS and IP address are ticked.
