Can a 4870 fit inside an inspiron 530? (help wanted)

It will fit the slot, but maybe not the case. Dell's won't accept high performance GPU's. You'll have to find sometihng similar with only a singe bracket solution. Plus what kind of PSU do you ahve? The stock one?

Be sure becouse the Insperon 530 comes with a 300w single 12v rail generic crap psu. However as far as fitting goes the 530 should fit it as long as you dident get the slim. Dell out sorced there north american bases support to canadia. Most of it.

Actually Dell PSUs aren't really that bad, well some aren't.
