Up the voltage if you need to for stability, also, try and up the multi (though personally i've never oc'd intel chips before. What is your heatsink now? For instance i changed my thermal paste and got lower temps, now i can OC to 4.0 and be stable unlike before. Before my limit was 3.7

MASSCOOL 8W5020F1M4 95mm
temps been ok. idle around 33c. and full load 45c.
Just was wondering if anyone knew the settings and what to do to get past 3.69. I get the 3.69 by usen the utilities oc settings.

If you want 4.0, you must use the bios to OC.

Go read the stickys or use google for a guide specific to your motherboard and CPU.

It is hella easy to get 4.0 on a stock cooler with that setup and using bios.

Basically you set the pci bus to 100, and you up the bclck, and vcore.

Lol Oh, you were using OC utilites that whole time? Well for stability on higher clocks you usually have to go into bios, I still use bios to OC all the time. The utilities can be useful but there not as great as the bios.
