I have been able to oc to 3.69. But i was wondering if anyone could help me oc this to about 4.0. Thank you.

Solution
Up the voltage if you need to for stability, also, try and up the multi (though personally i've never oc'd intel chips before. What is your heatsink now? For instance i changed my thermal paste and got lower temps, now i can OC to 4.0 and be stable unlike before. Before my limit was 3.7

If you want 4.0, you must use the bios to OC.

Go read the stickys or use google for a guide specific to your motherboard and CPU.

It is hella easy to get 4.0 on a stock cooler with that setup and using bios.

Basically you set the pci bus to 100, and you up the bclck, and vcore.
