EX58-UD4P 3-WAY SLI 8800gt

Hello Fellas,

I have been reading that the 8800gt can not be used for 3-way sli even though this mobo is equipped to
handle such a configuration.   That said, the 3-way bridge that came with the mobo further supports this. Is there a way to in fact use 3 8800gt cards without the 3-way bridge but still have a performance increase of having 3 cards? Getting a new card that is 3-way compatible is not really an option because of cost but mainly because the current 8800gt I have was a Christmas present from the G/F.... nuff said.
