Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help!

Setup here is ( was ) Sony TV, Sony DVD, Sony VCR and Sky Satellite Box
( not Skyplus, the regular one ).

As of earleri today, our lovely 20 month old daughter decided to get
her hands on the controls and has royally scr*wed things up. No image
whatsoever although we can hear the SKY channels broadcasting.

Now, I am utterly clueless when it comes to all things electrical, and
that easily includes tuning TV's back in. I guess she's done something
to upset the signal but I have no idea what the settings should be, ie
TV set to RGB, or AV1, or AV2 etc.

Has anyone got an idea what this *might* be, or shall I just take the
little one down to Dixons and swop her for a new plasma scree?

All advice, pointers, or plasma screen deals most welcome!

Thanks in advance.

Dave.

I know, bad form and all replying to my own OP, but:

after much gnashing of teeth and cursing of Sony manuals,I've been able
to get the signal back - the only problem now is that any time I switch
the TV off, when it starts up again it doesn't go to the correct
"input", ie AV2, and instead defaults to AV1.

I don't want the kids to f*nny about trying to get it onto AV2, so any
ideas how I can fix this?

The TV Menu is set to AV2, so I'd have thought that'd be OK!

Thanks for any advice!

Dave.
