I have a question regarding AHCI. In the bios settings I set my drive to AHCI. I had to double check because the boot up screen - you know the page that flashes real quick with your system info - shows IDE for my drives. I just want to know is there a way to find out for sure if it's set to AHCI? Also, if it's not, is it too late to change it?

More about ahci
  1. ahci isn't user configurable or anything like that. its an interface.
  2. Normally a separate ACHI bios screen will appear after the main bios screen and enumerate your hard drives. You may need to disable your logo screen to see it.
