Power Issue.........

Basically just built myself a new rig with limited funds, however i had a 400w psu, which i kinda blew, dnt ask me how cause i hav no idea....
but im usin a 300w supply atm from a old machine, however everyfin runs fine on the rig, yet as soon as i play games like farcry2 or modern warfare my comp jst cuts out....
iv tried both games on lower graphics but it still cuts out
also cuts out wen i use winrar to extract big files such as iso's
also before it cuts out my chip fan sorta slows right down as if theres not enough power getting to the board....
do u reckon its that my psu is 2low a power rating for my comp??

Asus M3A78 Motherboard
Amd dual core 6000+
4gb crucial 800mhz
ATI HD4670 1gb
sata II 350gb HD
CD Drive
Pci Wireless ADapter
2 usb = keyboard + mouse

nothing has been overclocked, and the Bios is on default settings
