Graphic card?

Total cost: 681 pound, is it good? what would you rate it 1-10? it is for gaming but i will buy high end graphic card later, so what would u suggest cheap graphic card and would be good enough to play popular games at low quality.

Thanks, and can you point out of problems and bad history about my parts of rig.
And anything that i'm missing?

well, in order to take advantage of the tri-channel offered by DDR3 memory, you need to run it in pairs of three. SO, the twin duals is kind of a mismatch there...

Tri-channel doesn't really give much of a boost over dual channel.

And technically the DDR3 doesn't offer the tri-channel. ;)

Touche on the ram not offering it itself.

At least I was quick enough to fix the pairs issue.

True on not as big of a boost, but it'd still be nice for when we see programming optimized for it. I'm sure it's only a matter of time... (famous last tech sayings)

Mmm, no tri channel, speed doesn't mean HUGE difference to me. HD 4670 looks like good and Is it good idea to keep OCZ 600 PSU? If not then why?

Althrough, it is little bit more expensivier.

No PC P&C is better quality and more than enough power.

What's really scary is my high school computer...

PIII 800mhz
PNY Ge-Force 2! 64bit!!!!
512+256mb of ram

It was a powerhouse ;)

T7200, 2gig ram, Go7900GS. It still can run some of the newer games...just not all prettyful =(

You should get different ram. For Core i7, you want ram that runs at 1.65V or less. All tri-channel kits are made for this. Your dual channel kit needs 1.7V to run at specs.

PC power and OCZ are made in the same factory. Get OCZ if you want the 120mm fan on the bottom or pc power with the 80mm on the back. They are both excellent psu's.

Neither of them make their own PSUs, nor do they use the same OEM.

PC P&C > OCZ.

The only excellent OCZ is the EliteXStream. The rest are mediocre.

PC P&C PSUs are made in the PC P&C factory in San Diego. OCZ PSUs are made by Fortron, FSP and Topower in Taiwan and other MFGRs.

+1 on PCP&C being in San Diego

Did you guys know AMD and Nvidia are made in the same plant too? Along with Peeps and Candy Corn (season permitting, of course)

I think what we can all agree is that if given the choice between a PCP&C and an OCZ...we'd all choose....
