Can a 250 watt PSU take a GeForce 8800 GT?, including my Motherboard and other stuff, I got a inspiron 530 slim version, so yeah, I'm not even sure the card will fit in my case, but for now can geforce 8800 GT take 250 watts max? or will it fry or not even boot up?

What are the rest of your specs, how many amps are available on the 12V rail, what resolution is your monitor?

A single 8800 GT video card uses about 100 watts and 9 amps at full load. There are several variations of the 8800 GT. Power requirements will vary depending on the video card configuration. A newer version of the card reduces power consumption down to about 75 watts and 6.5 amps at full load.

If you are into gaming your total power requirements will probably be somewhere around 400 watts as PCSoul suggested. It will also depend on the rest of your components as theAnimal mentioned.

ainarssems you do know that the 8800gt is a single slot card while the 9800gt is dual slot
the 8800gt has more chance of fitting
I hav an 8800gt and my friend has a 9800gt

So 8800GT is single slot
