First of all, I'm new here so if I posted this in the wrong section or anything like that please move it were it should be.

I have a nVidia 6600GT Extreme 128MB, Pci-E. I have it for about 3.5 years. I opened the hood today to clean it for dust. Took some of the components out and after cleaning it I put it back together. A couple of hours and problems later I managed to get the PC working. (It wasn't the first time i opened it. I had other problems with it today but I semi-fixed them.)
The system is working but the gpu cooler won't start. I'm afraid it will burn soon. Don't know exactly what else information to give you.

The MB is Asus A8N-E. I tested the gpu on another system and it worked except for the cooler.

Can anybody help?

Solution
Possibly see if you can rig up a jumper wire to the fan and see if it turns on.
Maybe one from the PS. If it runs then you are good although it will always be 100%.
If it doesnt run newegg sells new fans for about $15.
