Where in the BIOS do I go to change RAM timings to 9-9-9-24?

It will vary from board to board but it shouldn't be too hard to find. Somewhere under RAM settings as a guess.

As ahnilated said it varys from board to board, for Gigabyte boars you need to press Control F1 and then go into M.I.T. Asus boards its in the AI settings. I dont kow about the rest. You can check your motherboard manual it should list it in there, if you dont have the manual you can go to the manufacturers website and download it.

Under Cell Menu and then Memory-Z and Advance DRAM Configuration and FSB/DRAM Ratio. Read the manual under 3-19.

I looked at all three of those and I still dont understand hoe to change the timings

there would be three options with numbers in range of 3-6.

and one tab of selecting ram cycles. all those numbers would be above 10.

Well I finally figured it out but I have one more question I have OCZ obsidian 2x2GB DDR3 RAM and its frequency is 612mhz is it supposed to be this?

at 612Mhz it isn't set for the right speed in the bios.

How do you change it? I have the ram set to all the default timings, and I didn't see anything to change voltage.

Isn't that RAM going to be bottlenecked by the memory standard of that Mobo? I might be mistaken if I'm not looking at your exact board. Let one of the experts weigh in on that XD
