hi guys i have this strange problem in windows 7 32 bit (version 7100)

A gadget called all cpu metre shows that i have a 2.8GB ram even though i have a 6GB ram

but in the properties of my-computer my ram configuration is shown as 6GB (2.75GB usable)

does anybody else face this problem????

guys plz give your suggestions

You need 64 bit windows 7 to use your 6G ram.

ONLY 64 BIT WINDOWS CAN ADDRESS MORE THAN 3 GB OF RAM UNLESS UR SYSTEM SUPPORTS PHYSICAL ADDRESS EXTENSION

Total of approximately 3.5GB RAM can be utilised in 32bit O.S. Here 3.5-2.8=700Mb may be utilised by Onboard devices. Get x64 version of Windows 7 to utilise full capacity.
