Question about AM3 Fan and heatsink

I was wondering if any fan and heatsink made for am2/am2+ will work with am3? And more specifically if this one will work with AM3:

AM2/AM2+ Heatsink should work i dont see why not, and that heatsink on newegg.com will work

Yes, mechanically all AM2, AM2+ & AM3 sockets are identical.
