Hey guys, I just installed a new motherboard and installed its CD drivers but now my computer it getting terrible time gaps. Even loading the desktop at the start of windows takes like 10 minutes or more to get through all the starting processes. (normally was like 1 minute, 1.5?) I'm not sure where the problem is, the ram isn't anywhere near capping and the cpu and gfx card are at normal temperatures. Is it a driver/software issue with the hardware?
my-PC Windows XP service pack 3
Motherboard: Asus M4A785-M
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5400+ 2.81 GHz
Power Supply: Antec Truepower Trio 550 Watt output Model:TP3-550
Graphics Card: GeForce 9800 GTX
Sound Card: Dynex DX-SC51
Ram: x2 PNY 2GB DDR2 PC2-6400 ram sticks
etc: x3 Sata Hard drives, x1 CD-RW DVD drive, x1 Floppy drive
Antivirus: Avast

I should add that it's not like this all the time. Doing minor things or web surfing I don't even notice it, but when windows starts and if im playing a game (so when it's constantly having to process something for a while) it will keep freezing a few seconds then go, then freeze, then go. :(

I have not done any overclocking since I worry ill mess it up. I thought the power supply was enough but I don't know. Heres a screen of my HW monitor after running a couple of games to see the value changes.
