Hello,

I just upgraded my Dell to these specifications

5200+ Brisbane AM2 CPU 2.7GHz x2 Dual Core
1GB Crucial Rendition PC-6400 800MHz RAM
320GB Seagate HDD
Nvidia 8400GS

The thing is when I open CPU-z it lists everytihng right including the name and codename. But it lists the clock speed as 2605.5MHz, instead of 2.7Ghz? Am I missing something? Thanks.

I disabled Cool&Quiet in the BIOS too, it still shows the wrong reading. I think my chipset is a nForce 430. SpeedFan shows temps are 11C while nTube shows 40C. Is the CPU defective?

EDIT
I had a LE-1640 2.6GHZ Single Core processor in there before, could this be the problem? I tried to reset the cmos, but there was no jumper plug on it lol.
