Power consumption meter

I ran across the following meter which can be used to measure electrical power consumption at a wall outlet:

Is the meter okay for measuring how much electricity is being drawn by a power supply under various conditions? Is there a better device?

If you just want to have a general idea of how much power your PC draws, this device is more than enough and well worth the price. If you want something very precise for PSU review and benchmarking, there are better devices, but you will pay WAY MORE than 24$ for them .

OK! The meter is $4.00 cheaper at newegg. Think I'll get it just to see what current my system is drawing. No plans to start reviewing and benchmarking. Just curious.

I didn't realize that the price for these things dropped so much since the last time (years ago) I looked at them. Gotta get one.
