my pc config is as follows

asus m2npv-vm
1gb ddr2 667 mhz ram+512x2 ddr2 667 mhz ram
amd athlon x2 3600+
psu 500 watt

i wanted to buy radeon 4770 to use it wth abv configuration, help me out regarding th change in abv config if necessary

You need to be more specific about your power supply. How many amps on the +12v rails?

If your power supply is decent you can use the 4770, however it would be severely bottlenecked by the rest of your system.
