Is there any way to see if you processor took a ***? Will a motherboard still bring up bios without the processor?

Is there any way of testing the processor. The problem is I'm not getting a post or visual for that matter.

It could also be the MB, PSU or the RAM. You could try an out of the box with minimal components installed.

I've tried that with no luck. I did some research on the ma790gp-ud4h gigabyte and they have had a few that are DOA. I'm going back to Fry's today to see if i can get another one.
