Hello,
I have DELL Dimension 4700 desktop running Windows XP - Home Edition. Recently, and suddenly, it stopped booting. When the computer is turned on, it goes through the initial boot process, showing the Windows logo but after a while I hear a click followed by the disply on the monitor of a blue page, which says:

"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer"

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA etc followed by

Technical INformation:
***STOP: 0x00000050 (0xF360D6, 0x000000000, 0xBAA97510, 0x000000002).

The same thing happens when I tried to boot in the Safe Mode. I can never get past this blue screen. I have checked the Microsoft information on the Page Fault error. All of their suggestions involves being able to get the computer to boot up properly so that the drivers or other files can be changed.

Help.
