I have a new VGA adaptor monitor. I plug the monitor in the back of a HP Pavilion Slimline. Suddenly, the monitor won't repsond and load up the material. I took the monitor out and plugged it into another PC and it worked fine. However, when I plugged another monitor in the same VGA on the Slimline and it does not work. The VGA port on the computer is located on the motherboard. It is not on a separate video card. I concluded to buy a video card and install into PC. Is that the correct assessment of the problem?
