What UPS should I get for this system?

Hey guys,

I finished building my PC a couple months back and am now in the marking for a UPS, but am not quite sure which to go with for my setup.

CPU - i7 920
Case - Antec Twelve Hundred
PSU - Corsair 850TX
RAM - Mushkin 6GB DDR3 1600 Mhz
MOBO - EVGA x58 132-BL-E758-A1
GPU - EVGA GTX 295
Monitor - Samsung T240 1920x1200
HDD1 - G.Skill 64gb SSD
HDD2 - WD Caviar Black 1TB
Mouse - Logitech G9
Cooler - Cooler Master V8
Optical Drive - SAMSUNG 22X DVD±R DVD Burner with LightScribe


Any ideas or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I think you should get a 1000VA UPS.

UPS? Either that or a good APC surge protector. I have no clue what an APC UPS would cost. I guess its worth it. Seeing as you have a very nice system there. Hope that helps.

I have the 600w version fo that same UPS and its been rock solid for a year strait. Been through 3 poer outages and on all 3 shut the computer down when battery hit %30 which is how i set it up, also has good linux drivers.
