the game freeze to black screen or stripped color (red or orange) after 1-2 minutes playing nfs undercover. i haven't tried playing other games yet. i've used the driver from asus cd, can't work. same story with the newest driver from asus website. can anybody help me? thanks a lot

I've tried left4dead. also freezing and hang. this is really annoying. my psu is 500 W, Intel Q6600 @2,4 Ghz, RAM 4 Gb, MB gigabyte G31sm2L. is the card overheating? i think maybe asus smart doctor that control fan n gpu speed responsible for this. any suggestion is welcomed. thanks

try using CCC instead and take a look at the temps with it. You can also use GPU-Z to take a look at its temps as well.

With CCC try setting the fan speed to 34% and use stock settings to see if the card can run fine.

thanks for your info,

i've returned the product to the dealer. they tested it with new psu, added casing fan, try replace the vga van with other product, yet it still freeze after few minutes playing nfs undercover.

the dealer replace the asus with sapphire, and voila, no more freeze. everything stable. it seems that i had a defect product. the dealer is going to claim their product for replacement.
