I have a evga 750i motherboard with a q6600 and corsair 800mhz ram.Im looking to overclock and mostly play games.

Myquestion is will the 800mhz ram I have be o.k. for a 3.6ghz overclock or will 1066mhz be better.will one be faster than the other when playing games?

&

would a 7200rpm hdd affect the rams performance or game performance.

I should also mention I have a corsair hx1000 psu with 2 gtx 285 gpu's

with a 3.6 overclock 400mhzx9 with 4 sticks of 2gb a peice the ratio should be 1:1 with this affect anything?

800 MHz RAM is fine. Running 4 modules of 1066 MHz might be challenging.

would a 7200rpm hdd affect the rams performance or game performance.
It obviously won't affect the RAM performance, but games will load faster (assuming that you currently have a slower hard disk).

You can check the PSU Finder: http://corsair.com/psufinder/default.aspx and you'll see that it matches the recommendation.

A 7200RPM hard drive is MUCH, MUCH faster than a 5400RPM one. The difference is night and day! I would too recommend a 7200RPM drive, and now a days, they are about the same price as their 5400RPM counterparts.
