Noisy HDD

I have just installed a brand new WD hard drive. It is a Western Digital WD5000AAKS 500GB SATAII 7200RPM 16MB Cache - OEM Caviar Blue.

The installation went fine, and I put windows XP pro on the drive OK.

However the drive is now making a lot of noise. It seems to be working constantly, making the clicking noise. It does this all the time and never stops. I have checked to see if any processes are working in the background but can't fine any.

Should I be worried by these noises? Should I return the HD and get it replaced?

Thanks for any help :)
