Several SSD Questions

Ok so I think SSDs have matured enough to be a reasonable purchase now.

I'm looking to spend ~300

I have an ASUS Crosshair IV Formula moherboard which supports SATA 6GB/s


So far I'm leaning towards the Crucial C300 Sata III 128GB. Anyone have a reason not to get this drive?

Is there a difference between sandforce and jmicron and the rest of them?



Also, do you recommend a 128GB drive or 2x60GB drives in a Raid 0?

I know Raid 0 doesn't support TRIM but if it gives that much of a performance boost it may be an option.




Any suggestions?

I'm not a fan of RAID 0 unless there is a really good reason for choosing it. I'd get a single 128 vs 2x60 in RAID. Just my 2 cents.
