As you can tell from my title I would like to upgrade my old system.

Old System:
P5WD2 Premium
Pentium D830-Zalman CNPS9500 LED CPU Cooler
Powercolor Radeon X800GT
2 gigs of Corsair XMS5400C4
Maxtor DiamondMax 10 6V300F0 300GB Serial ATA (3.0Gb/s) 7200RPM Hard Drive w/16M
Seagate 1.5T Hard Drive for media storage
BenQ DVD+RW
Asus CDRW-DVD
Lian-Li PC6070 Plus Case-Stock fans
Corsair HX Series CMPSU-620HX
Samsung 215tw 21" widescreen monitor, Win-TV PVR500

I am thinking got going with the Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz . Here is where I need help!! What mother board do I go with. My PC is more of a Media Center PC. I surf the net and record TV. Sometimes We get into photo shop eidting but not much more besides office apps. At this point I only use one video card and I also use the onboard sound. Not looking to break the bank. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I was lloking at the ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo but I am not sure if this is more than I realy need. I do use an external hard drive the is eSata and USB 2.0 so I guess I need eSata too!

I forgot to mention HDMI would be nice but not needed.

For what you use a computer for, it really isn't hard to find a good deal on a new media centre PC. Honestly the system you have now works fine. I would just buy a whole new desktop than upgrade with your set-up.

I am having problems with the motherboard. The vcore keeps changing back to the Auto setting after I manually set it. Heat has always been a problem with this motherboard. I already tried another PSU and changed the battery on the mobo but the vcore will not keep the manual setting.
