To use or not to use thermal compound that is the ?

I'm almost there...Almost ready to start buying for my build...Have to pan a few details out though.

I've been reading on cooling solutions for just just about everything and I came across an interesting Problem/Curiosity.

Should I get a Thermal Compound or paste for my Cpu to cool it down. I've read a ltl on the Arctic Silver products but not

much else. Don't like what I read on conductivity since I heard that you aren't supposed to have a static or anything on ur

Mobo or ur Cpu...So the ? is...Should I get some or not and are there any w/ no conductivity??? Really want to cool

everything down to the max but don't know whether this stuff is necessary or even recommended.

Arctic cooling MX-2 is non-conductive and is probably the best one out there

+1 for the Artic cooling MX-2. Def one of the best available, and yes you absolutely need thermal paste. 100% def need thermal paste.
