How to reinstall media sound device windows xp

i deleted the multimedia sound controller hardware.... i need it back no sound device found now ..... where can i find the hardware again .... reinstall it i have no CD .... .... its an old computer XP and it cant go on line...

considering you can get on the internet since you posted on this forum, navigate to manufacturer's website and search for drivers for your old computer. Download them, once you have them, transfer them to your old computer, then go to Control Panel > Add Hardware.. Point the installation to the drivers you downloaded (select have disk), let it look for appropriate device. Once it locates the needed files it will automatically install them.
