Hey I just bought a new processor, amd athlon 64x2 5600 3.ghz. I was wondering if there was any thing I could do to tweak it for gaming? I run vista 32bit, 4g ram, 8600gts vid card

OC it a little, I guess.

Um... you can't tweak a processor.. per say. You can Overclock it and that is about it. You can tweak your over all system a little. Make sure you have faster RAM, OC your video card a little... That is about it. Make sure you don't have alot of background processes running when you are gaming. Other than that there really isn't much.

BTW the 8600gts is not a gaming card so that will be your most limiting factor in your system.
