So I just put my rig together and installed everything on my Gigabyte 790GP-ud4h mobo disc and I still dont have sound. And when I go into control panel > Sound it says 'No audio Device'. Im almost positive this has a Realtek HD Audio AC889a codec. What am I missing?

Before your HD audio will work you have to install the Microsoft UUA driver. Info can be found here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/888111

Then install your audio driver for the board and it should work.

Both of the drivers you need are here, at the top of the page:

It may take you a few tries to get there; Gigabyte runs their web site off an old Apple IIe with 16K of RAM, i.e., slow beyond belief...
