cpu: p4 2.8g, HT, 1MB L2, FSB800
MAIBOARD: 915PGN, PCI-E 1.0
DDR400 1.5G RAM DUAL CHANNEL(256X2, 512 X2)
using 7300gs pci-e graphic card (when I play Left 4 Dead use 1024x 768 resolution, lag...lag...)
250g sata1 hdd x2
380watts power supply

If I change a new one graphic card(may be 4670), Can this old PC will run smooth(such as left 4 dead, PES2009)?
I want 1280X 1024 resolution and no lag problem, or ..... I need to buy a new one PC :(
Many thanks...!

Left for Dead needs GeForce 8 series or 9 series card(Mainly due to pixel shader difference).. HD4670 will be o.k for 1280x1024 resolution. It works smoothly in medium settings. It worked without lag in 8300GS 512MB at 1280x1024 resolution. Also tried it in 8400GT 64MB. Worked smooth.

Yep. Most PC games loves fast video cards. This means if you can change that video card to at least a Radeon 3850. You might be able to play the latest PC games, albeit at medium to low settings @ 1280x1024 and lower.

PS. Playable for me is FPS ranging from 15 to 60 FPS.
