How to repair High memory usage notification

Useing windows xp and getting high memory useage by cpu. How can I fix this? slow computer also. thanks for any help.

well I'm not 100% on this, either you need to upgrade your RAM or you need to free up some space on your hard drive

Find out the process hogging up the ram and don't run/uninstall it if it is not essential program.
