Missing window functions

Hello,need to re-install portions of windows not funtioning after up-date and graftic card up-date.
ie-desktop backgroud(can see in Nvida setting but not on desktop)no accessories listed in entertainment.(vol control,can't see speakers)have disc but need to know what to re-install.

You can do a system restore to a time before the update. Be aware that you may lose whatever updates you made after that restore point.
