XFX 790i issues (freezing, no POST after BIOS update)

So , I'm an unlucky owner of this motherboard. It started freezing for the last few days, I noticed that the power could be wrong, image: http://peecee.dk/uploads/072009/strøm.jpg

But, the Windows log gave me this:

Den foregående systemlukning kl. 17:17:02 d. 08-07-2009 var uventet.

Nulstil til enhed, \Device\RaidPort1, blev udstedt.

I finaly found the BIOS updater tool from XFX, flashed it succesfull to P08 (I think it was that name?).

After reboot, I kept hearing the fans spinning 100%. 10, 20 secs later, still no BEEP (passing POST).

What the heck should I do now? No screen at all, no POST, nothing

Errr, is it possible to translate that Danish error message?

Yea sure:

"Following boot-start or system-start-driver couldnt be loaded - i8042prt"

"The last systemshutdown was unespected at 17:17:02 d. 08-07-2009"

After BIOS update, there's no POST, bo BEEPs - NOTHING. Any way to recover the BIOS, or do I have to get a new BIOS chip ??

After having the BIOS battery unplugged for 2 hours, it can boot again. Wee.

But, really want to update the BIOS. Any suggestions?
