Printer spooler not working device driver software

I have a brother LC-51 printer that is connected to my laptop, so I think. but every time I try and print a pop up box says' I have to turn on the printer spooler. so I tried and now it says something about the device driver software. I have no idea how to work a computer. please help

Post the exact message please. It seems just like the spooler was a service that was turned off, maybe this is another or drivers for the printer missing altogether.
