When trying to copy audio files from my CD via Windows Media Player to my
Ipaq, I have to go through an intermediate directory on my hard drive.
After copying to the Ipaq and trying to play it tells me I don't have a
licence for the track

What am I doing wrong as it is original CD's

Does it help if you go to Media Player's Tools menu, pick Options and
then the 'Copy Music' tab ... and uncheck 'Copy protect music' ?

What happens when you then try to copy a CD ?
