Case: I got the RC-690-KKN1-GP for my i7 rig, it is a great case with room to spare and it cost only 70 usd. Same layout as your case btw.

Cpu Cooler: If you plan to OC check out the COOLER MASTER V8, it runs cool with my 920@4000. The V8 cost 15 usd more and it's a bit of a pain in the ass to install it, but worth it if you plan to over clock, If not stick with the stock cooling and save the money. And you don’t need the Arctic silver if you get the V8.

All the rest is fine. As for the 216 vs 4870 1gb, it a tie depend on application.

Did the person that told you about PhysX also mention Havok? PhysX is the physics API implemented in the nVidia cards, and Havok the API implemented in ATI cards.

Check these lists and decide for yourself which is better for you. It depends on your favorite games.

You could save $50 with a GA-EX58-UD3R, compared to the P6T. It has fewer features but the extra features in the P6T are most likely things you'd never use, such as the third PCI-E slot.

You could save $80 with the RC-690. It doesn't have wheels, true, but it's a lot cheaper than the Haf 932.

You could save $64 by not buying an aftermarket cooler. The i7 920 is already overkill for gaming, even without any overclocking. FSX is the only game I can think of where overclocking would be worth it. You can always add a better cooler later anyway.

Now if you get a HD 4870 X2 for $430 your total will be $1523, if I added them right.

If the OP has the budget to get the HAF932 I suggest he does. It's an excellent case with good air flow, nice cable management and ample of space to accommodate the most robust of configuration. The CM-690 is a nice case as well but it's simply not in the same class as the HAF932.

ok guys I'm about to place my order with newegg for the rest of my stuff already bought the i7 core. Any last min. warning advice help changes that u guys can give wouuld be greatly appreciated.

Get the HAF case. It is an awesome case that has great cable management and room to mount a radiator if you ever want to do water cooling. It's also got a hole cut in back of the motherboard tray to mount those after market heatsinks like the V8.

I have the V-8 and it is awesome. The red LED it it will match the red LEDs in the HAF case.

You could get the V8 down the road, but unless you get a case where you can access the coolers support bracket (ex. HAF 932) you will have to remove the motherboard to install the new cooler. The risk of damaging components alone may make it worth getting the cooler to begin with rather than using the stock one temporarily.

well the reason I'm holding off on the cooler is that I might just go with water cooling. That would be around may so I dont really see the point of getting the cooler for like 2 months. or should I just get it and get a water cooling system down the line? also I want the whole system cpu and gpu and hdd cooling
I saw a nice rig in some pics online I'll try and look for the link, this guys rig was completely cooled by WC.

With V8 you can over clock your CPU @4000 easy. I don't think you will do, or want to do much better with water cooling, but you will have to pay much more. As for the rest the 932 or the 690 they both have grate air flow if you add few fans, with the 690 you will have to add 3 120-140 fans.
I got the 690 with i7@4000 v8 at the moment with 5 hd and 216 gtx, it is quiet and cold as ice . I have zalman fan controller to help me with that as well. In any case you cant get much wrong with your budget.
