I have 2 of each of the following Kingston HyperX sticks installed in my intel board

2 x 2 GB KHX6400D2/2G
2GB DDR2 800MHz Non-ECC CL5

2 x 2 GB KHX6400D2LLK2/2G
2GB 800MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL4

I thought that I would see 8 GB, but the 2nd set of sticks only show up as 1 GB each, no matter what the arrangement is or even if they are by themselves.

Can anyone give me an idea why or how to fix the issue?

Thanks.

Ryan

It's a 2 GB kit (2 x 1 GB): http://www.kingston.com/HyperX/products/khx_ddr2.asp. It's easy to fix. Return them and get 2 GB modules identical to the first set (2 x KHX6400D2/2G) or buy a 4 GB kit.

Did you check the specs at Kingston? KHX6400D2LLK2/2G is listed as a 2 GB kit and KHX6400D2/2G is listed as 2 GB module. The sticker should indicate the part number for a 2 GB kit, not a 2 GB module.
