Yes it is. CM v8 support 1155 socket and asrock extreme4 is lga 1155.

I've that combo sitting right next to me. Works just great.

Just fyi...lots of reports of clicking on that cooler. Mine started to clicky clicky during boot for about a minute. I then got a new case, Silverstone Fortress rv02, and the clicking stopped. Just something to think about...google it.
