Any one know how to make a windows xp folder
undeletable? ..... yesterday i deleted a folder by
accident, containing a few hundred files, and id like to
avoid anything similiar happening in future.

I've found a few progs on the net that do this, but they
do too much, password protect, encrypt, hide etc, and i
dont need all that - just want a simple way to protect
folders

Thanks

It seems like the default "Are you sure you want to delete the folder ***
and all of it's contents" message plus the folder being moved to the Recycle
Bin where you can easily recover it should be enough to prevent an
accidental deletion?

Even a protected/password protected/encrypted folder can be deleted by the
Administrator on the system.

Delete is a seperate folder permission. Block all users from deleting. See File Permissions in help.
