PC problem

I got a new sniper case and my friend asked me tolet him i install everything into it ,(asus maximus formula, Nvidia 8800 gts , 4 memory, silencer 750 watt) , when he powered on ,nothing happened, the second time same thing , third time i heard a spark and some smell , I took everything off and notices he forgot to put the motherboard stand screws and he installed motherboard directly on the case, i fixed everything but when i turn on the pc now , my samsung 240 monitor is looking for videocard and no picture just black screen on the monitor, my mouseand keyboard(they connect via USB are not working , actually most of USBs are not working , i tried my other video card(ati 800) nothing, changed the slot nothing , i can see memory lightsare dancing( they have lights on then 0 , so what do you think is wrong? motherboard is fried? video card?, cpu? please help

The PSU should be fine. There's a good chance the motherboard is fried.
