Forum Storage : General Discussion IMac G5 Memory Module (RAM) increase

Hello,
I'm wondering how to buy my Memory modules. Presently in my iMac G5 from 2005 I have two slots: one holds a 1GB module, the other a 256 MB module. I added RAM myself once before and need to do it again to its maximum.
What is the max RAM this computer can support? 2 full GB? 4GB?

I believe the maximum supported RAM for you iMac is 2GB.
