my usb ports on the front and back of my compaq 7550, running xp operating system, just stopped working.
i've turned off the computer, waited 15 seconds, turned it back on...no luck.
i've tried different perhiphals on these ports with no luck.
i bought a new printer with a usb port on it's front. running from a usb port on my computer to the usb port on the printer back with no problem.
i use the usb port on the back of the computer for an external hard drive. the one on the front of the computer for memory cards, etc.
