Hi, CONNECT YOUR MP3 PLAYER. WAIT 15 SECONDS and then go to: START / Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Computer Management / click on computer icon ''Device Manager''. There will be window with list of your hardware, so RIGHT click on the mouse on the icon of your Portable Device (for example sony). It should be listed on last positon, but depends on name. Because you have RIGHT-clicked on the icon, menu will appear - click on PROPERTIES , then choose tab DRIVER, and click UPDATE DRIVER. It will ask you ''Search for drivers?" - choose "No, let me choose driver'' and then you will see two options - ''MTP'' and ''usb mass storage'' - click on usb mass storage and update (install). now the xp will install the device within seconds and you should see the autoplay window (open files with explorer). Good luck! M. ;)
